This post is not about Frankenstein, because, I am ashamed to admit, I have never read it. But I liked the quote and it inspired me to:
- Read Frankenstein which I truly will, by March – I promise BP, I promise.
- Become powerful
What does it mean to become powerful? Well for the intents and purposes of this posts it means to let it go. Let what go? Let everything go. Become a less stressed, more easy-going, healthier individual – consistently. Why consistently? Because I am very good at being these things for periods of time, and usually not all at once, but it never lasts. This year I decided that I like love feeling better so that is what I will do.
“How?” You ask? “Hush, Clopin will tell you..”
(If you’ve never seen The Hunchback of Notre Dame, shame on you!, now back to the post.)
To start off, my cousins and I (and if she is daring enough perhaps my grandma) will start practicing yoga.
This will be a great year, once a week, mats in tow, we will practice yoga and heal our bodies and minds of every-day stress. In a way Dr. Jekyll will prevail over Mr. Hyde. *NB: I haven’t read this book either, BP I know I’ve let you down, I’ll get to it, and perhaps I’ll come back and edit this post if it makes no sense. *
Most likely we’ll laugh, we’ll have fun, and it’ll be worth it. Plus our yogi master (probably not the right way to address her but it sounds cool) has awesome purple hair , and that makes it all worth it.
Perhaps all I really need is the courage to die my hair purple, something to ponder…
P.S. I have read Dracula, I just felt the need to make that clear , I am not completely unknowledgeable about gothic literature. That is all.
