Anthony Lockwood from Jonathan Stroud’s series “Lockwood & Co.” is a dashing fellow who owns an agency that hunts down evil spirits. Lockwood the husky was named after Anthony Lockwood, and very aptly named, for he too is a dashing fellow.
Both Lockwoods’ have loyal friends who are always there for them – in Anthony’s case his friends help him fight ghosts and evil spirits (see “”The Screaming Staircase” and “The Whispering Skull”, and soon “The Hollow Boy”) and in Lockwood the husky’s case Slash the pug is always by his side should he need backup when barking at strangers or dogs, or when it comes to destroying all the evil plants in our yard – for you see, both Lockwoods are good at keeping evil spirits at bay- at least thats what we assume the husky does when he thrashes the backyard.

They are both prone to trouble; Locks the husky likes chew and eat all that he sees, this tends to get him into trouble with humans. Anthony Lockwood tends to bite off more than he can chew when it comes to picking cases which also tends to get him in trouble, sometimes with humans, sometimes with nasty spirits.

Lockwood the husky is a master of escape, he can climb over walls, push through them, open locks, not dissimilar to Anthony Lockwood who also seems to have a knack for escaping sticky situations.
